Missions & Outreach are important to the life of John Knox. We recognize there are many local, regional and global needs, so we strive to be strategic in addressing as many needs as possible.

Outreach opportunities

Every year, we are proud to send out an Adult Mission team over Spring Break with a large variety of locations and tasks. In the past, we have done Disaster Relief in the Gulf, building projects in Mexico, and a mission to Costa Rica. Green Team

The Green Team is selling Fair Trade Coffee and related products every first-Sunday-of-the-month in the lower narthex. Click here to find out more about Fair Trade. If you are interested in being a part of the Green Team, contact Diane Helt

Habitat For Humanity

Our upcoming Habitat work days are scheduled for October 2, 16 & 30, and Nov. 13, 2010. These projects generally go from 9am-5pm on a Saturday.  For more information, contact the church office or speak to Ted Cowan

Heifer Project

After visiting Heifer Ranch over the summer, we are excited to be promoting the Heifer Project coming in 2011. Stay tuned!

Malawi Partnership

We are working alongside PC(USA) efforts to provide clean water in Malawi. By raising funds for these projects, we are able to offer much needed assistance to our African brothers and sisters. To find out more about the PC(USA) efforts in Malawi, click here

Red Cross Blood Drive
